What amazing weather! Today we are going to Alameda to transplant the first batch of tomatoes. The night temperatures have been so cold it’s been risky to leave the seedlings out to harden off but they are looking good and are complaining of crowded living conditions so it’s time to get going.

The last few weeks Peggy has been transplanting up a whole mess of greens—chard, spinach, raddichios, lettuce and all the spring brassicas that include bok chois, cabbages, kales etc.

She is hoping to come back to farmers markets in the next couple of weeks. We’ll send out a newsletter once we are sure of the dates. So get out there and get your gardens ready!!
